Raymond James welcomes advisor managing over $350 million to investment program at First Mid

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James Financial Institutions Division (FID) recently welcomed financial advisor Nick Bronson, CPFA, to First Mid Wealth Management (FMWM), part of First Mid Bank & Trust, according to Stephen Kruchten, president of FID. With this new alignment, Bronson will provide clients with investment and wealth management services through Raymond James Financial Services.

Bronson is based in Burlington, Iowa, and manages approximately $355 million in client assets. He was previously affiliated with LPL Financial as part of Two Rivers Bank & Trust, which was acquired by First Mid in October.

“Nick approached this transition with a clear focus on what would best serve his clients and support the continued growth of his practice,” said Grace Austin, senior vice president and North division director of FID. “By aligning with Raymond James FID, he gains the technology, investment breadth and institutional support designed to help advisors operate at a high level.”

“Nick’s experience, client-first mindset and strong ties to the Burlington community make him a valuable addition as we continue to grow and enhance our wealth management program, supported by the full breadth of Raymond James FID’s resources and capabilities,” said Brad Beesley, president and CEO of FMWM.

Bronson began his financial services career in 2019 with his previous firm and holds the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor designation. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa.
